It has happened to you countless times. You see a rifle which has just finished firing. You render it safe, and your heart knows exactly what it wants to do. While the brain may protest, the heart wants what it wants, and you grab the enticing, hot barrel with your bare hands.

“OWWWW OWWIE OW OW OWCH! IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN!” – We’ve been there too, but not anymore. Let us solve this problem together.

This “hand guard” will help deter the user from grabbing a hot rifle barrel, or whatever else you shove through it. Even still, in the event you can’t help but grab it, this device will prevent you from directly touching at least some of it. Made of aluminum, and extremely light, please enjoy this safety feature with anything that takes a standard AR barrel nut. You will be pleased with the results.

The 12″ Ergo Handguard is 12 inches long. Designed with the potential of being grabbed by your hand the bottom swells out to be more sensually. Having an inner diameter of 1.6″ you could fit 1.6″ of stuff (in diameter) inside of it.

You have read all about our innovative hand guards, which provide protection against the common hand burns caused by “spicy barrel.” This one, though, has a special something. We realized it was special when we picked it up. “Egad!” we exclaimed, with three exclamation marks. “It appears that I have picked up the item, but I am certain this weight is far too low for an item of this size! It may even be that my mind deceives me, and I have not even picked it up, on account of the lack of weight I am currently experiencing on my body!” It was not a feat of magics, though. It was a feat of materials science. It is called M-A-G-N-E-S-I-U-M. It is cool and light, and I heard it sometimes can go on fire in certain circumstances. We scraped some shavings off and hit them with a lighter to test. It was funny. With these raw/blem ones, it’s a good idea to paint.

Ships with one set of mounting hardware and one ar15 compatible barrel nut.
