G17 Slide – Black, Standard, Blem

Description

This one’s black, which is the color slides are supposed to be, according to slides. It is the default. The setting everything ships in before someone gets ideas. There is nothing to explain here, no bronze to justify, no origin story to squint at. It’s a black G17 slide and it knows exactly what it is, which is more than most of us can say.

It does G17 stuff. It goes clack. It’s got the RMR cut already milled in, so you can bolt a red dot up top and enjoy two ways to aim: the dot, and the time-honored practice of pointing. Runs 9mm, also runs .40 S&W, and we’re not going to relitigate the .40 thing, the guy in the back already sent an email about it.

It’s a blem. Somewhere on it is a little something. A speck. A scuff. A story it keeps to itself. It works fine, it just isn’t showroom clean, and because black hides a multitude of sins you may have to hunt to even find the flaw, at which point congratulations, you found it, that’s the one, that’s why it was cheap. Paint it, don’t paint it, we’re not your dad.
