The Hitchhiker is a lovely little rifle, unironically the most fun 22 I own. Just post up in front of some steel with a box of ammo and pop away at it until you get tired.
No magazine means that there is no good “aw man, I need to load magazines, I should go inside” natural stopping point, and the easy fast loading means that it is less cumbersome than a normal single shot. Both together means that the stockpile of cheap 22 that you bought during that sale a few years ago is in serious danger.
The build is straightforward, the prints are easy, and the parts are cheap. Stop reading reviews and go buy the dang kit!

Four of the pieces came with quite a bit of dirt/rust on them. Cleaned em up an sprayed them with some oil should be good.
