Description
This tag must be placed in a way that the identification markings are capable of being easily seen with the naked eye during normal handling of the firearm, and are unobstructed by other markings when the complete weapon or device is assembled. Use a soldering iron to heat while installing this into a 3D printed or plastic frame prior to submitting your form 1.
Some sanding and finishing may be required.
Bend to conform to the surface being applied to. Use a soldering iron to heat the tag and push it downward to set it into the frame. Start heating in the middle and move to the outside once it sinks in flush to the surface. Smush some of the plastic coming through the holes over the tag to more permanently attach the tag.
Here’s a model you can use to easily cut this feature into your model.
